BackLit Beta Test Information: Obtaining the DotlessBraille and XBraille Fonts

A unique features of BackLit is the option to display the back-translated braille as DotlessBraille.

Before you can use this option, you will need to download and install the new DotlessBraille and XBraille fonts by following these instructions. Note that you can go ahead and try out BackLit without installing these fonts; just be sure to check the correct radio button indicating that you have not (yet) installed the fonts.

1. Download the DotlessBraille font by right-clicking on the link and selecting "Save Target As ...".

2. Download the XBraille font by right-clicking on the link and selecting "Save Target As ...".

3. After you've downloaded both fonts, install them by dragging them into your Fonts folder.
